UCL PGCE Art and Design course staff:
Intensive Teaching and Practice sequences(ITAPs):
This year, the government has stated that all ITE courses must from 2024/25 include four ITAPs, amounting to 20 days total across the programme. In preparation for this, we are trialling these sequences this year. Here are the four ITAP focuses that have been chosen:
ITAP 1: Creating a positive environment for learning
ITAP 2: How to plan for and articulate learning in art and design
ITAP 3: Negotiating the politics of representation with students in the art and design classroom
ITAP 4: Modelling sustainable thinking through making
