An Introduction to Masters study.
For this Research Project I want to continue to develop the ideas from my Bachelor's degree dissertation, which was about the emergence of sound art and the relations of sound and space.

Phil Jones: What is a Masters?
Here was discussed the opportunities and benefits of undertaking a masters course. An undergraduate degree gives you the chance to develop relevant skills within your chosen professional field. A Masters course looks 'beyond the horizon of your chosen field' and strives to build upon that knowledge and in turn, create something new.
One is never a master of discipline, but a true master is someone who continues to acknowledge the room for refinement, growth and knowledge.
The types of encouraged learning:
Experiential Learning:
Experiential learning is the connection of mind, body and action.
Independent Learning:
Independent learning is a chance to fully immerse yourself in the study.
Relevant Learning:
Hopefully this masters course will provide me the relevant skills necessary to prepare me for PhD study and gives me the opportunity to network and think beyond the restraints of a singular discipline and strive for expanded practice.
